Conditional


The conditional is used:
- for expressing a wish (e.g. Kupio bih sladoled. = I would buy icecream.)
- for expressing a possibility (e.g. Mi bismo se mogli lepo provesti na moru. = We could be having a nice time at the seaside.)
- or in polite requests (e.g. Da li biste otvorili prozor? = Would you please open the window?)

It is formed in the following way:
the aorist tense of the verb biti       + the active past participle
sg. pl. sg. pl.
1. bih bismo m pevao pevali

3. bi bi n pevalo pevala
