Belgrade

Noćni život Beograda pulsira, kafići, restorani i noćni klubovi su dobro posećeni svakog dana u sedmici, često do ranih jutarnjih sati.

Belgrade lies at the mouth of the Sava and Danube. The city has more than 2 million inhabitants and is very old. In the 15th century Belgrade has become the capital of Serbia. From this time originates the saying: Belgrade is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, a hidden gem. Cosmopolitan, modern, sublime and chaotic at the same time, linking the Serbian nonchalance and love for life with a sense of history. Belgrade is also the political and cultural center of Serbia. There are beautiful orthodox churches in the city center, among splendid government buildings and the strict constructions of the communist era. The Belgrade nightlife pulsates, cafes, restaurants and night clubs are well attended every day of the week, often until the early morning hours. The most impressive viewpoint of the city is the mighty fortress Kalemegdan, especially when residents and guests are strolling between imposing historic buildings at sunset and enjoying the magnificent panoramic view of the city. The fortress Kalemegdan was 25 centuries ago the center of the city. Many people have lived here. However, there is also another, dark facet of the recent history, half-destroyed and abandoned buildings in the city center remind us on the NATO bombing in 1999. Belgrade has left the tragic past behind, the city blooms again - and at affordable prices. And its residents show up young und open minded.
