Na putu kući

Radni dan je završen. Milan čeka Dragana. Oni se voze kući Draganovim autom. Dragan pažljivo vozi svoj auto i ne prebrzo jer je saobraćaj gust. Približavaju se raskrsnici. Saobraćajac uređuje saobraćaj.
- Dragane, vidiš li tamo napred policijsku patrolu?
- Sigurno opet saobraćajna nesreća!
- Ne, nije nesreća. Samo policijska kontrola.
Voze polako prema policijskoj kontroli. Jedan policajac zaustavlja njihov auto, prilazi Draganu i kaže:
- Dobar dan! Policijska kontrola! Mogu li videti vašu vozačku i saobraćajnu dozvolu, molim?
Dragan mu je dao papire. Policajac je pregledao papire i vratio ih nazad.
- Hvala! U redu je. Možete nastaviti dalje.
Dragan vozi polako ulevo i onda udesno. Uskoro su bili pred Milanovom kućom. Iznenada staje motor njihovog auta.
- Oko 250 metara iza auta.

- Gde?
- Gledaj! Tamo na zaustavnoj traci. Imaš li sve papire kod sebe?
- Jasno! Imam ih uvek kod sebe.

- Dobar dan, policijska kontrola.
Vaše papire, molim! Upalite svetla! Okej, sve u redu. Šta mislite, Milane: Koliko brzo ste vozili?
- Ne znam.
- 130!
- To je vrlo moguće.
- Ali ovde smete samo 100 da vozite. Zar niste videli znak?
- Ne. Žao mi je.
- Pa, to vam neće pomoći. Ovo će vas koštati 4000 dinara.
   On the way home

The work day is over. Milan is waiting for Dragan. They are going home with Dragans car. Dragan is driving his car carefully and not too fast, because the traffic is brisk. They are approaching an intersection. A traffic policeman is directing traffic.
- Dragan, do you see over there, a police patrol?
- Again a traffic accident for sure!
- No, not an accident. Only police check.
They are driving slowly to the police check. One policeman stops his car, walks to Dragan and says:
- Good day! Police check! Can I see your driver's license and vehicle license, please?
Dragan hands him the papers. The policeman looks through the papers and give them back.
- Thank you! It's all right. You may continue.
Dragan drives slowly to the left and then right. They were soon in front of Milan's house. Suddenly the engine of their car strikes.
- Damn! We just missed this trouble. We have to move the car off the road now.
Milan, please be so kind and put the warning triangle behind! I will check the engine in the meanwhile.
- Where should I set it up?
- About 250 meters behind the car. I will look for defect in the meanwhile.
They both get out. Dragan lifted the bonnet up. Soon he found the error.
Fortunately it was just a minor fault. Milan took the triangle back and they could continue.

- Be careful, Milan!
You should not drive so fast!
- Why?
- Don't you see the police control? Two police officers already stopped one car.
- Where?
- Look! There on the shoulder line. Do you have all documents with you?
- Sure! I've them always with me.

- Good day, traffic control.
Your papers, please! Switch on the light! Okay, all right. What do you think, Mr. Milan: How fast were you driving?
- I don't know.
- 130!
- That is very possible.
- But you may drive here only 100. Haven't you seen the sign?
- No. I'm sorry.
- Well, that does not help you. That will cost you 4000 dinars.
